"High-performance silica aerogel nanocomposites for insulation under extreme temperature Space environments"

AeroXTreme will endow lightweight, fiber-reinforced silica-based aerogel nanocomposites for high-performance thermal insulation at extreme temperature/ vibration conditions imposed to Space devices, especially in launch/re-entry operations and at cryogenic propulsion stages.

Eco-friendly minerals existing in the Centre of Portugal will be incorporated.
